OOM began with a short animation that stayed with me long after it ended.
A mother, grieving, shuts the world out—convinced there is nothing left to hold. On the other side, a little one has almost nothing to carry across—everything fades when it's time to let go. And yet: a rope woven from wool. A sweater finished at last, stitch by stitch, sent across the distance.
The sweater stays.
That was the moment I understood: we cannot always keep time, presence, or the people we love within reach. But we can still make something with our hands—a soft, lasting way to say I'm here. I remember you. You matter.
